The Brazeau Gymnastics Club Communication Policy supports timely, clear, and consistent communication between coaches, board members, and families. The Club values open, proactive dialogue and constructive feedback to ensure transparency and accountability. Input from coaches, board members, and parents/guardians is considered when making decisions or implementing changes, helping present a positive and consistent image of the Club within the community.

Communication Policy

Brazeau Gymnastics Club is a volunteer-led, non-profit organization governed by an unpaid Board of Directors. To recognize the time, effort, and expertise contributed by Board and Executive Committee members, the Club offers a discount on program fees for one registered child during the fall, winter, and spring sessions.

Board Incentive Policy

Brazeau Gymnastics Club is committed to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment free from harassment and discrimination. Harassment of any kind is not tolerated and is prohibited under Canadian law. This policy applies to everyone involved with the Club, including staff, volunteers, coaches, athletes, and members. All individuals share a responsibility to report any suspected or witnessed harassment to ensure a positive and supportive environment for all.

BGC Harassment Policy

Brazeau Gymnastics Club promotes the positive development of the activity/sport of gymnastics and its members. The purpose of the Discipline Policy is to have a formal pathway to address complaints raised by anyone who interacts with the Club, such as Board of Director members, volunteers, parents and athletes.

The Registration, Refund and Fee Policy provides clear and consistent information regarding payment requirements, registration, refunds, cancellations, administration fees, late registration fees, late payment fees, bonds, and other financial obligations related to programs and events offered by Brazeau Gymnastics Club. This policy should be read together with the BGC registration information, program calendar, and any event-specific terms communicated at the time of registration. 

The policy applies to all athletes, parents/guardians, and registrants participating in recreational programs, classes, sessions, and events offered by Brazeau Gymnastics Club.

BGC REGISTRATION, REFUND & FEE POLICY

The purpose of this policy is to establish BGC’s commitment to safe sport and to provide clear expectations for the prevention and response to abuse, maltreatment, harassment, discrimination, bullying, neglect, and other unsafe or inappropriate behaviour.

BGC recognizes that everyone involved in gymnastics has a responsibility to contribute to a safe sport environment. Particular care must be taken to protect children, youth, and other individuals who may be vulnerable or dependent upon adults in positions of trust.
