About Our Club
Gymnastics is a sport that includes exercises requiring balance, strength, flexibility, agility, coordination, and endurance. The movements involved in gymnastics contribute to the development of the arms, legs, shoulders, back, chest, and abdominal muscle groups. Alertness, precision, daring, self-confidence, and self-discipline are mental traits that can also be developed through gymnastics. If this sounds good to you and your school aged child(ren) we have classes for you.
The Brazeau Gymnastics Club is dedicated to enhancing & enriching lives through participation in the sport of gymnastics. We are dedicated to our athletes, their parents & our coaches in providing a safe environment, cultivating confidence & strength and providing support to all members.
We started the club in 2013 because so many kids wanted to try gymnastics, with the only option being to drive into the city, which was not a great option for many, especially young families. We were at Whitney hall for 2 years and somehow managed to run a full program, where we had to set up and take down equipment every night. We moved closer to town in Brazeau county in 2015. The space was small but it was ours. Again the program grew, and we moved a few spaces down to where we are now at 6426-50 Ave Brazeau County. Today BGC is triple its original size, and is looking to once again be full of active, happy kids with a program that will surpass all expectations.
Our Team
Our coaching staff is dedicated to ensuring your young athletes have a positive experience, and gain skills that they can carry into the future, in and outside of sport.
Our volunteer board is made up of BCG parents with a vested interest in the success of the club for all of our athletes.
