Coach Kelly originally got involved in our club in 2014 when her young daughter expressed interest in the sport and coached until 2020, and she has recently returned to be our head coach, and we couldn’t be more excited!. Gymnastics has been a part of her life on and off since the age of 3, and now as our head coach, she brings infectious positivity and understanding to all of our programs, and the kids love her

Recreational Gymnastics Coach

Coach Ella is another BGC gymnast turned coach, she started in recreational and moved into the competitive program after 2 years and competed until 2021 when she started volunteering as a way to get into coaching and has been coaching her own classes since January. Her favourite thing about being a coach is seeing the smile it brings to kids faces especially when receiving a new skill that they have worked so hard on. 

Taylor Smith

Recreational Rhythmic Gymnastics Coach

Coach Taylor is the newest member of our coaching team this season, though she is not new to the gym. She is another BGC alum, a competitive and rhythmic gymnast from the very beginning of BGC, and she has also coached artistic classes here in the past. This season she is looking forward to using her passion to create some awesome choreography and work on flexibility with the kids. She will also be getting into judging! Watching kids master new skills is her favourite part about being a coach.

Coach Stephanie is one of our competitive coaches this season and, she is excited to take on this new challenge in her coaching career. She grew up in Charlottetown, where she was a competitive gymnast and fell in love with the sport. For Coach Stephanie being a gymnastics coach is a great way to support her healthy lifestyle, but the best part is watching the kids learn and grow 

Brooklyn Motkoski

Preschool & Recreational Gymnastics Coach

Coach Brooklyn studied child development in college and loves working with children. She has a background in dance and wanted to learn more about the incredible sport of gymnastics, and she loves working with kids so she became a coach! Brooklyn coached with us a number of years ago, and has just recently joined our coaching staff again.
