CANGYM RECREATIONAL PROGRAM
The CanGym program is a nationally recognized program that uses an inclusive and developmentally appropriate approach to empower participants to build a foundation of physical competence and confidence to enjoy a lifetime of healthy, active living.
This program is a skill-based program, which means it is based on ability and not on age. The skills required at each level must be achieved to move onto the next level. At the end of each session the participant will receive a Report Card clearly indicating which skills are at each level of "learning," "attempted" or "mastered." In order to pass a particular badge, the athlete must master all the elements on the Report Card. This is important as the skills are built upon in a clear progression from one badge to the next.
