WAG Competitive Team (CCP Program)
This program is designed for gymnasts who have been selected to train on the merit of their physical ability, gymnastics potential, work ethic, and competitive spirit. The criteria are set forth by the competitive coaching staff. Participation in any competitive program requires a significant amount of time, commitment, and effort for both the athlete and their family. Being a part of a competitive team is a commitment, and athletes are expected to show up to the gym with enthusiasm, a good attitude and respect for their coach.
Team members train in the gym from 4-12 hours a week, and they train 12 months a year with 2-6 hours a week for July and August.
Tryouts are held for all Competitive Teams in the Spring for the following competitive season.
Rhythmic Competitive Team
The Rhythmic Competitive Team is new to BGC and are focusing on group performances currently. This program is designed for selected individuals who will train 2-3 hours per week. Group performance requires a great deal of commitment to their teammates and to the coach. Being a part of any competitive team requires time, commitment and effort for both the athlete and their family.
The Rhythmic Team trains 12 months a year.
Tryouts are held for all Competitive Teams in the Spring for the following competitive season.
Performance Team
The BGC Performance Team is a year long commitment. The athlete must be committed to attending practices and performances. This is an artistic floor routine group and work on group acrobatic skills. All skill levels are welcome and can be a great addition to your weekly gymnastics class.
